Royal Enfield Himalayan

It’s a completely new motorcycle from the ground up, including new chassis, new engine and new design. The Himalayan will be powered by a new four stroke, single cylinder, 410cc air-cooled engine, which will make around 28PS of power and 32Nm of torque.
Instead of a traditional push rod set up, the new engine will have overhead cams and is expected to freely rev to 6500-7000rpm.
The engine will also be equipped with a counter balancer which is expected to make the new engine much smoother and refined than any of the engines from the Royal Enfield stable.
Royal Enfield is an old classic motorcycle manufacturer from Madras, India. It previously introduced classic motorcycles. But recently it introduced a tourer motorcycle called the Royal Enfield Himalayan. It is a light, durable, powerful motorcycle. It's engine capacity is 411cc. It is a touring motorcycle that can travel long distances with comfort and seamless ride. It is a two Wheeler that can handle rough rides as well as smooth rides in asphalt roads. It has the ability to be repaired minor faults easily. It can start and run without a battery. Though you would need to perform a push start. Out can also light the headlight without battery while running. It is a true tourer plus comfortable ride for youngsters and the ones who dream of a taller comfortable bike.

The bike gets a new double cradle chassis, designed by Royal Enfield-owned Harris Performance, which was responsible for designing the chassis of the Royal Enfield Continental GT as well.
The Himalayan will be launched in two variants - one an out and out adventure bike with raised front fender and dual sport tyres and the other one with street tyres and conventional mud guards.
The two variants are expected to be priced between Rs 1.65 to Rs 1.85 lakh.
